I’ve been scheming a detached garage to use as a shop that is about 110 sq ft bigger than my house (not counting the attached garage)... it’s a couple years out still.

My 1100 SqFt house includes a one car garage. This is going to be life changing 5 cars worth of parking indoors, but realistically 4 and large work space.

That’s my dream - I’ve got 2-car attached I would use for parking and other ‘normal’ garage stuff, then somthing like 32x40 or 32x48 in the back with a couple doors, a lift, and a workspace/machine shop.
I’ve yet to actually lay it out on my lot, not sure where to find accurate survey info to know the exact measurements. I feel like when I bought the house there was a nice drawing floating around but I can’t find it.
